David Stibbard Constructions Pty Ltd began trading on 1 August, 1979 with a vision of specialising in home building.
As Stibbard Homes and some years of concentrating on project homes, including partnerships with some of Australia’s largest home builders, we recognised a need in the increasingly sophisticated Hunter Valley market for individually designed homes. A number of potential clients were telling us that their personal needs could not be satisfied by ‘off-the-rack’ homes. And we liked the idea of involving our clients in the designing, costing and building process: they could achieve what they wanted and we could see great professional satisfaction for ourselves. So we set about devising a system that would allow our clients to do this.
It took some time (and we are constantly refining it) but our unique BUILD™ process allows our clients to optimise their building options with minimal risk or up-front financial exposure.
We have a team of specialists: a designer of great skill and experience, building professionals, suppliers and contractors excited by the challenges of unusual, detailed work and in-house support staff such as estimators and administrators who share our passion.
Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every Stibbard client enjoys total design flexibility with real budget control and personal, experienced and professional support throughout the building experience.

Recent success in constructing projects that have commercial as well as housing aspects has prompted us to change of our trading name to Stibbard to eliminate confusion in our areas of expertise.
